Mountains “Choral” 2xLP
Moutains, the Brooklyn-based experimental duo, just released their first record for Thrill Jockey Records today, titled “Choral”. Their music is hard to describe, they play a sort of experimental drone-folk, melding together acoustic instruments and field recordings. This is slow, dense stuff, with most songs clocking in at over 8 minutes. All that being said, it is mesmerizing. Choral is a 2xLP, is limited to 1000 copies worldwide, and only costs $14.
