Belong – October Language – LP
Vinyl version of this blissful and noisy album from the New Orleans duo called Belong, originally released on CD in 2006. Geographic North has done us the pleasure of having October Language pressed onto thick 180 gm black vinyl in a limited edition of 500. If you haven’t heard Belong before, Tim Hecker and Fennesz are pretty good reference points – so if you like either of those artists I suggest you pick this up soon. Picked this LP up. Sounds really good except for halfway through the first track on the second side there is some really loud POPS for about 10-15 rotations from a pressing error. Checked with the label and apparently it effected the entire pressing. Bummer.
