Looks like 12-string virtuoso James Blackshaw has found a new home on Michael Gira’s Young God Records and I’m happy to see his newest release The Glass Bead Game is getting the vinyl treatment. Not quite as psyched about there being one track left off the vinyl edition but its done to preserve the audio integrity so I’ll still say that vinyl is the best format for this release. If you’re not convinced, consider that the vinyl edition also comes with a CD version of the full 5-track album. There’s really no argument apparently. It appears the label still does not have their copies in, but when they do (should be soon) you can get it at younggodrecords.com as well.
