I fully realize that we have been blogging about every release the Type label puts out. It can’t be helped. My objective is to hype you to high quality vinyl releases, and this label absolutely fails to disappoint. Your Naked Ghost Comes Back at Night is a strange beast. Originally released on CD in 2004, it is the collaborative effort of a couple of artists named Steven Hess and Sylvain Chauveau, whose recordings for this release have in turn been run through the wringer by none other than Helge Sten, also known as Deathprod. Apparently these recordings constitute what will be the last recorded output of Deathprod, so I suppose that makes it a bit special. All that really matters is that this is some massive low end darkened ambience. Spooky. As with all Type releases, the vinyl is extremely limited and is distributed by forcedexposure.com in the US and boomkat.com in the UK.
