Lokai – Transition – LP
Another new LP from Thrill Jockey, another amazing album from a group I know nothing about. Transition was recorded in Vienna by two musicians fueled on wiener schnitzel, coffee and schnapps. Or so I gather from the write up at TJ. What it equates to is some skittery, kitchen sink percussion overlayed with lush, sun-dappled melodies and electronics. Basically an amazing album. I guess I already said that. Also, it’s only $12. So, get to it. Again, that address was thrilljockey.com.
