I was holding out hope on this one… I had been hearing SDRE was going to get back together for a reunion so surely Sub Pop would reissue their seminal first two albums, right? RIGHT?! Well, it is true. Sunny Day Real Estate is indeed reuniting for a slate of 20 emotionally charged (emo?) shows starting this September. But even more importantly for those of us who absolutely loathe any sort of social interaction whatsoever with other human beings, Diary and LP2 (aka The Pink Album) are being reissued on the long playing vinyl format this September 15th. Yes! So stay off of the eBay, suckers, and we will post here when Sub Pop puts up pre-orders. In the meantime, read up at the subpop.com blog for tour dates and such.
