OOIOO “Armonico Hewa” LP
When we wrote up the last batch of Thrill Jockey releases, we forgot to mention this little gem. OOIOO’s six full-length album, titled “Armonico Hewa”, is a crazy one to digest. They are an offshoot of Boredoms, are from Japan, are all females, and play “tribal psychedelia”. In other words, if you’re adventurous, there really shouldn’t be any reason for you to dislike it, it has a lot of things going for it. $14 for the LP in a gatefold jacket (limited to 1000) at ThrillJockey.com.
