Animal Hospital “Memory” 2xLP

This record is so amazingly great, yet so hard to describe in words.  Both of us have been eagerly anticipating Animal Hospital’s “Memory” being released on vinyl.  In fact, I can’t think of an album I’ve anticipated MORE in recent months.  Barge Recordings is out of Brooklyn, while Animal Hospital is the work of Kevin Micka.  This hard to define album’s recipe includes hints of drone, folk, psychedelia, and post-rock.  Basically, it’s about everything we like in music, all thrown into one bag, then perfectly blended.  It is being pressed as a 2xLP on white vinyl with a tiny edition of 350.  Highest possible recommendation.  Preorder now for $18 at BargeRecordings.com.
