Immune is back with a new vinyl release, which means this is some high-quality shit.  C Joynes is a renowned British guitar player that has released some CD-Rs and ultra-limited vinyl.  “Revenants, Prodigies, and The Restless Dead” is his first widely-available vinyl release, thank goodness for Immune.  The music is rooted in traditional folk fingerpicking, but beyond that, there are subtle influences ranging from psychedelia to middle-eastern and African music.  I think I’ll blast this album next time I’m driving through the hazy Iowa countryside, as it would be perfect for that.  The record itself was done totally pro, mastered by Chicago Mastering Service, single black vinyl LP pressed at RTI, hand-numbered in an edition of 500, and comes with a download.  The street date is November 17, but it is now shipping from Immune, no need to wait.  A mere $14 gets you this slab at ImmuneRecordings.net.
