The Sight Below “Murmur” 12″ EP

What I wouldn’t do for more of this guy’s stuff on vinyl. Ghostly International has just released a new EP from The Sight Below, following up on the warmly recieved Glider full-length he released last year (sadly no vinyl edition of that album was ever pressed). This new EP features two new songs, as well as a vinyl exclusive remix from Biosphere and a digital version of the album which includes two exclusive remixes from Eluvium and Simon Scott. Basically a total blow-out of ambient techno bliss. Listen to the samples on the order page; then count your dollars up and get ready to plunk down eighteen of them for this limited vinyl EP at theghostlystore.com.

  1. That’s a beautiful looking piece of vinyl. Weird that you should post it today. Rafael just played some Arvo Pärt pieces with one of my best friends yesterday for the Seattle Pianist Collective. They’re recording it as well and it may be released as a 7″. Rafael’s not only a very talented artist, he’s also a super nice guy, and fun to talk to about ambient music.

  2. Did you happen to ask him when the Daydreaming vinyl would be coming out? Man, I love that album.

  3. No, but if I run into him again I will.

  4. “Also be aware that Daydreaming will get a limited Purple vinyl release including a new track. Coming around october or so.”

From the Miasmah MySpace. I won’t start tearing my hair out yet. Hopefully it shows up this month.
