This album has been out for awhile now, but I’ve only discovered it just recently. Seeing as how there are still copies floating around, it’s definitely worth writing up for some of you ambient heads to check up on. Three Days of Fever is an apt title for this collection of improvised recordings from Greg Haines and Wouter Van Veldhoven. I get the same vibes from it as I got from laying around listening to Pan•American and Richard Skelton with strep throat earlier this year, my forehead radiating heat like blacktop asphalt in July. Blurred and smeared ambient tones that will paint colors in your head under the proper circumstances. You can stream the entire album and order from eathismedia.org. I was able to get a copy shipped to the States for less $20 from juno.co.uk (who currently have in stock the limited white vinyl edition, limited to 500 pieces, I believe).
