The newest entry in Southern’s Latitudes series is by none other than Phil Elverum, aka Mount Eerie.  By now you should know that if you’re an Elverum fan, you’re gonna like it all, and you’re gonna buy it all.  This record was recorded in 2007, and it’s a mostly acoustic album with a few touches of electric guitar.  Elverum describes it as, “maybe a little like “Lost Wisdom” but without the magic of Julie’s voice”.  The LP can be purchased for £7.50 on clear vinyl exclusively from Southern.net, otherwise you can get the black vinyl directly from Phil for $20 shipped at pwelverumandsun.com.
