Important’s monthly update is now up and ready to suck your pocketbook. They’ve got two new LPs that I have never heard of before (imagine that). Don’t get me wrong. Not complaining. Zurich features members of Slowdive, Seefeel and Knives ov Resistance. The New Monuments features members of Graveyards, Burning Star Core and Borbetomagus. I can’t really draw a lot of conclusions from those reference points, but I will say Zurich sounds more industrial than I thought it would (based on the MP3s posted) and The New Monuments – well I won’t know what that sounds like until I get my copy but I imagine it’s noisy enough to melt that troublesome grey matter currently residing between your ears. You should also be pouncing (like literally) on those Eleh albums we wrote up not too long ago if you haven’t already, supplies are scarce. Of particular interest in this update is Important’s lp tote sale where you can currently pick up new albums from Risil, Cave and Brethren of the Free Spirit for $25. Like all three of those amazing albums for $25. Total. If you can’t get excited about that, than you probably need to have your fucking cranium examined. Of course there are tons of other LPs in that sale, but those three are definitely worth pointing out for those of you that can’t make responsible purchasing decisions without proper tutelage.
