Steve Moore “Fever Dream” 10″
Mexican Summer puts out records with amazing consistency, you could buy most of their catalog blindly and enjoy it. Their new 10″ EP is from Steve Moore, aka one half of the retro-synth powerhouse Zombi. I haven’t heard this record in it’s entirety, but there’s a nice clip on the site that sounds beyond promising. It is $19.98, which falls within the “boutique pricing” of the other Mexican Summer releases. They also have a release out by The Amazing, a side project of Dungen (aka one of OMGVinyl’s favorite bands). Browse their catalog at MexicanSummer.com.
