Minneapolis’ Doomtree has just released some leftover copies of their ultra-limited self-titled album, previously only available at live shows.  Ferociously independent and original, Doomtree is easily the second-best hip-hop crew in Minnesota (they’d be the best if those core Rhymesayers members weren’t so damn hard to top).  The collective features members like P.O.S., Dessa, Sims, Paper Tiger, and Lazerbeak.  Speaking of Lazerbeak, his production here is top-notch, seriously underrated stuff.  The vinyl version is a 2xLP with screenprinted packaging, and it has a tiny edition of 300.  Grab it for $22.99 at FifthElementOnline.com, or $19.99 at Doomtree.net.
