Here’s another insane record from La Societe Expeditionnaire, the label behind the mind-blowing Dragon Turtle album.  I’m really starting to trust their curatorial abilities, so it’s no surprise that Mako Sica’s “Dual Horizon” is a sweeping psychedelic masterpiece.  The Chicago trio (featuring two ex-members of Rope) play loose psych with an improvisational feel and a spooky Native American influence.  The record was recorded live with no overdubs, revealing a lot of power and energy with minimal studio trickery.  It pretty much feels like it could burst at the seams at any moment.You’re gonna like this one.  Three massive tunes on an ultra-limited 12″ EP for only $16 shipped.  Visit La-Soc.com.
