A Broken Consort “Crow Autumn” LP
A Broken Consort finally returns for his newest album Crow Autumn on Tompkin’s Square. Truth be told, A Broken Consort hasn’t really gone anywhere, he just likes to call himself Richard Skelton, sometimes. If you’ve been keeping up with his releases, you won’t need much convincing to pick this one up as well. If you haven’t, then this is as good a place to start as any, seeing as how this LP is only going to set you back $13. That’s good news for those of us on a tight budget who can’t get enough of these strange bowed notes and layered acoustic tones. You can currently get copies from forcedexposure.com, but tompkinssq.com should have their copies listed soon enough as well. This is limited to 500, so don’t wait around too long.
