Ween “The Mollusk”, “White Pepper” & “12 Golden Country Greats” LPs
Stop me if you’ve heard this one before, but last I had checked, these three reissued albums were only available as some sort of boxset and, let’s be honest – all we really want here is The Mollusk. No disrespect to one of my favorite frat boy jam bands of all time but… srsly. Anyways, you can now pick these up individually for $16 a pop at Aural Exploits’ newly designed website… which looks a lot like their old website… only worse… srsly? Go fuck your eyeballs out at auralexploits.com.

That pisses me off. I bought the box set for the mollusk and white pepper, thinking it was the only way to get them. I should have known better. Or, I should sell the box and buy them individually.

who in their right mind over there thought this was an improvement?
Does anybody know anything about Plain Recordings? I got this box and the Elliot Smith reissues, which are great. The Mr. Bungle, Disco Volante LP was HORRIBLE. I had to turn the volume 3/4 of the way up just to hear anything. Absolute crap, I took it back to the store.
yeah you have to love a label doing such high profile reissues that doesn’t even have a website
the MBV reissues were pretty blah

Though there is no indication of it on the packaging, the individual reissues are on colored wax, just like the box set. Here’s my pics:
