Tranqill “The Hidden Treasures” 12″ EP

Thanks to OMG superfan Dangerous Dave for pointing this one out to us. We aren’t going to start posting every underground rap 12″ that pops up or anything, but this one caught my eye thanks to a well-placed Paul White remix. The rest of it’s not too shabby either, here’s what the label has to say about it… “Tranqill is a reclusive South London producer and MC who tells brutal tales of street life with rare wit and panache. It’s like the first time you heard the Wu-Tang–” WHOA WHOA WHOA… hold on a second. It might be a bit early to start comparing yourself to the first time I heard the Wu-Tang. The first time I heard “the Wu-Tang” I was rolling four deep down the mean ass Sioux City Streets in a busted up Corsica, not hunched over in a cubicle contemplating shoving two pencils in each nostril and slamming my head on the desk. The “first time you heard the Wu-Tang” this ain’t, but it’ll get your head nodding. Check the Paul White remix then pick up a copy at tranqill.bandcamp.com.
