Guilty Ghosts “Enigma Variations” Tape

I got this tape in the mail and didn’t really expect much from it, but it ended up being totally great.  Guilty Ghosts is the solo moniker of Brooklyn’s Tristan O’Donnell.  His music is pretty hard to categorize, but it’s got an overriding post-rock influence (albeit a scaled-back one, as if remixed into a dreamy, droney lull).  Looped, fuzzy guitars and downtempo beats, the perfect recipe, who knew?  The tape is limited to 50 copies and costs only $5 via the label, Words+Dreams, or from the artist directly HERE.
