The North Sea “Bloodlines” LP
Type Records has released a limited vinyl version of The North Sea’s “Bloodlines”. If you don’t know, The North Sea is the alias of Brad Rose, head honcho over at Digitalis, so much respect is due. This slab of vinyl is a dark journey filled with sinister drones and claustrophobic noise. This is definitely NOT the quiet, relaxing side of drone music, but the density offered here begs for repeat listening and further exploration. Looks like some copies are on clear blood red vinyl, and the whole thing is said to be somewhat limited. Grab a copy at Boomkat if you’re in Europe, Americans can go to Experimedia.
