Two Great Records from Light Lodge
We’ve been meaning to write about Austin’s Light Lodge Records forever, but we haven’t gotten around to it till now. If you haven’t already been buying their stuff, you’re in for a real treat, this label has a lot of eyes on it and is rising fast. Their two current in-print releases consist of a self-titled 10″ by SURVIVE (actually usually appears as S U R V I V E) and the “Forces” 12″ by Silver Pines. SURVIVE play some really fun post-rave electro with loads of tasty synth work, while Silver Pines play fuzzy, beautiful pop music with a hint of shoegaze and some gorgeous female vocals. Both releases are also super cheap, just $13 shipped each. These bands are getting bigger fast, so snatch these up while they’re still around. Definitely a label to watch, visit LightLodge.com.

Would love to listen to these records but they never arrived, beware of light lodge, though a great label, they’re customer service department apparently does not exist. Has anyone had any problems with orders from them before?
The last record I ordered from them took forever, but did come eventually.

It isn’t fucking amazon.com – one guy mailing out 200+ records a week on top of full time job/ touring. Be patient eh?

Did those records ever arrive? I’m having the same problem with them, waiting on the Silver Pines 12″ and the Pure Ecstasy/Sleep Over split 7″ for almost a month now. E-mailed them a few days ago with no response. I would just contact Paypal to get my money back but damn I just want these releases really bad.
