LCD Soundsystem “This Is Happening” 2xLP
This one took awhile to grow on me, so maybe it’s a good thing that the stateside vinyl pressing took a couple months to show up. At this point I am fully ready to own This Is Happening on the proper analog format. It doesn’t quite hit the highs of Sound Of Silver (that’s probably asking the impossible), but it is a great album by every other standard, and sounds fantastic when played at loud volume. Insound handles DFA distribution in Northern America, so get your pre-order in at insound.com. Europeans, I believe you have had this one available to you for awhile via Parlaphone, you can still pick up copies at normanrecords.com and many other fine retailers.
