It feels like I have been waiting for this to come out on vinyl for a couple of years now, but it’s actually only been a little over six months. Waiting For You could have easily topped my best of 2009 list, all it was missing was a vinyl edition. So listen up – this is limited to 1000 copies and is never going to be repressed. I highly suggest you seek out a copy. This album is, in my opinion, one of the best things the Hyperdub label has ever put out – definitely in step with Burial’s first two albums. I’ll quit blathering but this is currently only available in the UK, so pick up a copy at boomkat.com for now; info on North American distribution is forthcoming.
