Vinyl and cassette version of the much loved sophomore effort from Obliteration, first released on CD in 2009. This Swedish Nordic death metal masterwork gets a lot of attention these days, not least of all because of the generous praise heaped onto it by Fenriz of Darkthrone. But even if you know fuck-all about death metal (like myself) it’s easy to see why people love the Nekropsalms – this album just absolutely shreds. Americans are going to have a tough time justifying the prices on these two imported versions, but that still won’t stop me from recommending that you pick this LP up at duplicate-records.com or go for the cassette version at ormeyngel.bigcartel.com. Pretty amazing stuff here. Will definitely bump if either show up in a US distro.
