Gil San Marcos “Domes” LP
This record showed up about a week ago and has burning a path through my brain ever since. Gil San Marcos makes some hypnotic, noisey music. He adheres to a strict “no instrument” policy, creating these compositions largely with contact mics and various effects. This shit gets pretty wild in places, but it’s a lot more listenable than some other “noise” I’ve come into contact with. That said, you won’t find any peace here, just the low sound of a man slowly going insane. The LP comes on colored vinyl in silkscreen packaging for only $11 shipped. Visit BombayCove.com.
