Hooded Menace “Fulfill The Curse” 2xLP
In case you didn’t know, Hooded Menace are churning out some of the most abominable metal available right now, straight out of Finland. Pretty sure the only thing keeping the band members alive currently is embalming fluid and Hammer horror movies. Last year’s Never Cross The Dead was such an amazing album, the only thing I hated about it was that I had not heard of this band sooner, and therefore missed out on the first two pressings of their previous album, Fulfill The Curse. Lo and behold, a third and final edition has been summoned, and I’ll be damned if I miss it. Currently available in an edition of 200 on white vinyl at doomentia.com.

ahhh shipping is killing me, guess i don’t have a choice
As with most of this metal: love the riffs, can’t stand the vocals.
Think I paid almost $60 for a 2xLP and two 7″s – oh well, this album is worth it to me. It might be getting US distribution through allthatisheavy or hells-headbangers, but I didn’t want to risk missing out.
Ordered it despite the shipping cost being so steep. I’ve never heard these guys, but with a name like Hooded Menace and with album art that awesome how could you possibly go wrong? The 7″s will have to wait until payday. Hopefully they’ll still have some black ones left.
If you like the band name and the artwork then you will love this album. Seriously one of the best bands I’ve come across lately.
