Chibalo “S/T” LP Preorder
Here in small-town Iowa, we once had a heavy band that actually made it out of the area and was heard by a lot of folks (relatively)…that band was Song Of Zarathustra. Makes sense then that Chibalo feels like a special record to me, as the band consists of members of Song of Zarathustra, Book of Dead Names, Killsadie, Red Light Go, etc etc. It’s a bit more rock and roll than previous incarnations, but the same explosive spirit is there. Just listened to the track you posted. Reminds me a lot of Acid Bath, which is a good thing! Pretty cool. Thank goodness it sounds nothing like that other band from Iowa with a bunch of masked retards.
