MYTY-KONKEROR “I Miss The Future” Lathe-Cut LP

First of all, the fact that so few people are going to own this album is vinyl is a damn shame, there’s an empty space in almost everyone’s collection for a record like this.  Twin Lakes Records had New Zealand’s Peter King make MYTY-KONKEROR’s ablum, “I Miss The Future”, into a tiny edition of only 30 lathe-cut LPs.  There are elements of noisy psychedelia, krautrock, shoegaze, and about ten other genres and sub-genres here, but it’s nicely summed up as “hypnotic scrap-metal”, a phrase someone once coined for them.  Make more sense of it by streaming it in full here.  The label is supposedly already down to a single-digit number of copies, so act fast on this (if you miss out, there’s a tape coming, but owning the lathe is a totally different experience).  The LP is on clear vinyl and costs $18 at Twin Lakes Records.
