Wow, FSS are not afraid to put their money behind some insane music, and let’s thank them for that.  Wrnlrd’s “Death Drive” EP is beyond experimental.  In fact, it sounds unlike almost anything I’ve heard, tearing through bits of blackened metal, death growls, noisey drones, and even a somber piano piece.  This one-man-band is putting out some of the most forward-thinking metal being played today, make no mistake about it.  Oh yeah, and one track features vocals by Dwid Hellion of Integrity.  The beautifully packaged (die-cut sleeve) and meticulously pressed 10″ can be bought for $14 shipped at FlingcoSound.com.
