Orchestraville “Poison Berries” LP
This band actually shares two members with The Black Swans, though they sound nothing alike. Here, instead of the psych folk of the Swans, they play a heady homage to 60′s-70′s pop/rock, employing big hooks, an intoxicating (yet tasteful) amount of organ, and beyond-solid songwriting. This should please pretty much anyone, but especially fans of someone like The Kinks or the Americana rock leanings of Delta Spirit.
