8″ Lathes from Peasant Magik – Concern, Caboladies, God Willing

Like many fans of The Drone, I was smitten by a little album released last year on Digitalis called Truth & Distance by an artist named Concern. The album was released on CD only, and the packaging was quite exquisite but as you might imagine, I very much wanted a copy on vinyl. Well, this ain’t quite that, but it’s close. Peasant Magik has released alternate versions of two tracks off that album on an 8″ lathe, extremely limited at only 50 copies. You get an early version of “Heartsink” and an extended version of “Young Birth”. True drone bliss. There are also new 8″ lathes from Caboladies and God Willing, all available for $15 each ppd in the US. If you want all three, then you can have ’em for $38. Either way, you best hurry, this news was announced last week and again: limited to 50. Go get at it at peasantmagik.net.

UPDATE: Gone. Do not think these will be showing up again. Crossing my fingers that we will see a full vinyl edition of Truth & Concern at some point.
