Circa Survive “Blue Sky Noise” LP Preorder

It’s been almost three years since the last Circa Survive album, and thank goodness, the new one is almost here.  Judging from the first leaked tune, the band has somehow injected even more power into their sound, practically bursting at the seams.  “Blue Sky Noise” doesn’t come out till 4/20, but you can preorder now, and you’ll get the MP3’s a week early.  $17.99 for the vinyl LP at

  1. Atlantic records eh?

Didn’t the 90s teach these bands anything?

  2. Any idea how many vinyls will be made? And color/type of the vinyl?

  3. I have a feeling that it will be a standard record, probably on black. Since vinyl is so hot right now record labels are learning to do bigger, more basic runs. This seems especially true when bands move to different/bigger labels, a la Every Time I Die’s most recent offering on Epitaph. Mew is on Atlantic and their album from 09 was in a really nice packaging with 180 gram vinyl but just standard black. It would be awesome if they did limited colors though!

  4. there will be at least 2000 pressed, but I would not be shocked if they upped it ended up being 4000 or so

  5. me fail english? that unpossible!

  6. My preorder came in – looks like at least some are on clear blue.

  7. I got clear blue vinyl….
