“Designed Entropy I” 7″ EP from Gold Robot Records

I received this sleek looking little 7″ on my doorstep the other day, and I have to say, having heard of none of the music in advance, I am very impressed with it.  This little slab features four different artists:  Bomarr, Copy, Meanest Man Contest, and Roman Ruins.  The music ranges from modern, hip electronica (Bomarr, Copy, and Roman Ruins) to laid back indie crooning (Meanest Man Contest).  The pressing is spot-on, the sound quality is great.  You can hear clips from all of the songs on their MySpace page.  The record was pressed on transparent brown/orange vinyl, has an edition of 500, and is only $5 shipped.  Support an awesome small label at Gold-Robot.com.
