Elm “Nemcatacoa” LP from Sweat Lodge Guru

When we released our first vinyl record almost a year ago (Lawrence English’s “A Colour For Autumn”), we knew we’d have to find something pretty special to follow it up with. After a long, long wait, we think we’ve found it, Elm’s “Nemcatacoa”. Originally released on CD (and gone shortly after that), this record represents the pinnacle of Jon Porras’ solo output (you may know him for being half of the duo Barn Owl). It’s dark, it’s epic, it’s a full-fledged metallic drone masterpiece. We’re just humbled that he let us have anything to do with it. The LP is limited to a one-time edition of 400 (250 on black, 150 on clear) and costs $16 at SweatLodgeGuru.com.

  1. Yes! Did not expect this. Definitely one of the best albums in the Barn Owl and related canon. Gonna order later today once I get some funds

  2. Any chance of releasing the other two Elm records? I always felt those belonged on vinyl.
