Interpol – “Antics” and “Turn On the Bright Lights” Vinyl

Point your browsers away from eBay everyone. Matador has been kind enough to repress a slew of highly sought after albums from their back catalog, including two out-of-print Interpol albums: Antics and Turn On the Bright Lights. I believe a few of these Belle and Sebastian albums may also be repressings, as well as the most recent Yo La Tengo album. See for yourself.

Interpol – Turn On the Bright Lights
Belle and Sebastian – Fold Your Hands Child, You Walk Like A Peasant
Belle and Sebastian – Tigermilk

  1. Such a strange time to be a record collector. On one hand its awesome because all these records that have been out of print are getting repressed and I have a chance to pick up classic records that I’m not picky about what pressing they are but just excited to have them. On the other hand it kinda sucks when it comes time to thin the collection and get rid of stuff that you don’t listen to anymore and you try and get a few bucks for it and there’s 30 copies of the new press and no one is interested in the original stuff. Just making an observation.

  2. Definitely agreed. You just have to hope that whatever record you are trying to sell has enough collectors out there interested in original pressings and/or there is a difference in the pressings (color, artwork, etc.)
