Kompakt “Pop Ambient 2009″ LP
Kompakt’s much loved and long-running series is back in 2009 with another dose of spaced-out techno. This year’s series is a little darker than usual, featuring as it does tracks by Tim Hecker, Klimek and Wolfgang Voigt under his MINT alias. The LP version also includes a CD of the entire album with a ten minute CD-only bonus track; ambient compilations don’t come any more highly recommended than this. This will be available from most of the retailers we feature regularly on this site, including forcedexposure.com.
