Live At Death By Audio 2012 Flexi Book

I’ve gotta say, this is probably one of the raddest things we’ve seen in awhile. Flexi-discs (a promotional gimmick from days of yore — recently revitalized and dumped back into the sewage filled promotional channels) are used to great effect here for this documentation of Death By Audio 2012 by Famous Class. Bound in a book to create a playable piece of art much greater than the sum of it’s parts (and its got some pretty great parts); adorned with the eye-popping design work of Brian Chippendale (Lightning Bolt) and featuring tunes from a smattering of world-class, blown-out artists (Thee Oh Sees, Ty Segall, Black Pus, A Place To Bury Strangers, etc.) recorded live at DBA 2012. Now try and tell me you don’t want to showcase this one on your record shelf. Get real. Who knows how long this will last; our recommendation: purchase. Pre-order now (like, right now) at famousclass.com.

  1. Joyful Noise did a similar thing with the last Deerhoof album, turned out really well.

  2. Damn my lack of funds! Looks amazing.
