Satan’s Satyrs “Wild Beyond Belief” LP
The art for this LP (there is also an awesome poster inside) seems to be riffing on Satan’s Sadists, a standout classic of sophisticated grindhouse cinema. Needless to say, if you don’t like biker-revenge-exploitation flicks featuring rape, mutilation and murder, then this blackened, scuzzy rock ‘n’ roll may not be for you. Man, these guys are slooooow. Says LP’s will ship in 4-6 weeks. it’s been 10 weeks, and nothing. Can’t seem to get a reply from their website either. Stay away from this one!
The guy who runs this label has posted recently on a few message boards saying there was some major delays getting this pressed but it is now on the way from the plant. I don’t think its a ripoff or anything, seems like it just took longer than expected to have the album in stock and ready to ship.
It certainly would be nice of him to post that info on the website where the album is for sale. It would also be nice if He would respond to his e-mails. If this doesn’t show up within a couple of weeks I’m going to ask for a refund, and I will most definitely never purchase another of his releases. I’ll spend my money with a distro who actually know what they’re doing.
